Earning Money Online By Climbing The SERPS

I have totally neglected this blog over the last couple of weeks due to the fact that I have been working very hard on sites with my new partner. We’ve to get 9 niche sites up in the last couple of weeks which is pretty cool, I think if we can to keep this pace up we should be making good money in 6 months time. Obviously I’ve also got my own sites that I’ve been working since I joined the Keyword Academy 4 months ago ticking alone in the background. I’ll be doing the occasional spot of link building to my own sites but the vast majority of my efforts will be going into the new sites.
I have to say, having someone do the content for the niche sites really allows me to focus and concentrate on the things that need to be done. My problem since I started trying to earn money with Google is getting sidetracked all too easily because their is just so much you need to do in the Make Money Online game if you want to succeed.
Joining the Keyword Academy and following the structure they set out has really helped along with learning to use Excel spreadsheets to organize my work. But having someone else to share the burden of work has been excellent, I suppose I’m starting to understand why serious Internet Marketers get so excited about outsourcing their work to other people and its something that I can see myself going a tonne in the future to make things easier.
Anyway I thought I would take ten minutes tonight to have a look and see how this site was doing in the Google search engine results pages. I’ve also been having a look at my statcounter traffic stats to see where my visitors have been coming from and trying to figure out a way to boost my traffic up a notch.
Google Traffic To Adsense Make Money Online
At the moment we’re getting about 35 unique visitors a day to this site which isn’t too bad considering I haven’t been promoting it very vigorously at all. I put the reason it has been moving up the Google search engine results pages down to the fact that it is starting to age more than because I have letting loose on it with my special ninja SEO skills.
From looking at the keyword analysis on statcounter and can see that I’m starting to rank for a reasonable number of longtail keywords related to earning money online and how to earn money with Adsense. We’re sitting at 8th to 15th in the SERPS for the following keywords:

- adsense make money
- how to make money with adsense
- earn money from google
- earn money with adsense
- earning money online
- adsense money
Keyword Analysis From Statcounter
Now, I run this site more as a small personal project for fun rather than as a cash machine. Perhaps in the future if I can really start to rank well for some big money keywords I might try to monetize the blog in some way but for now its my little experiment. For the moment I’d really just like to start climbing the SERPS for the personal satisfaction, if I could get into the top 5 positions for a few of the keywords then I’d feel like I have accomplished something pretty cool for a newbie to the world of earning money online.
Plan Of Action For This Site
I suppose if I want to make progress I am going to have to make a plan of action. Like I said I’m busy with other money making projects at the moment so I’m have to limit myself to about an hour a week on this blog which means I won’t be able to post much due to time constraints. I’m going to use all the time I have available to start getting quality backlinks from all available sources with anchor text that matches the keywords I am targeting.
A Word On Anchor Text
You should know that the anchor text used in the backlinks that link to your site is extremely important in how well you rank in Google and what keywords you rank for. Google uses the anchor text to try and figure out what your site is about so make sure you manipulate this fact to your advantage by getting people who link to your site to use relevant anchor text.
What Will I Do To Get Backlinks
I haven’t done much to publicize this blog since I set it up so there are plenty of things I can do to get extra backlinks. I’ll write a few articles for the likes of ezinearticles.com and maybe do a couple of hub pages. More importantly I’m going to try and find some friends in the earn money online niche who are interested in a link exchange. This is a quick and easy way of getting backlinks that won’t take up too much of my precious time.
Adsense Make Money Online Needs Your Help
Like I said time is short and I need links to get this baby up to the top of Google so if you have a website that deals with any topics that are a vague match for this blog it would be great if you could throw a link with some nice relevant anchor text my way. If you email me and tell me about the link I’ll repay you with a link from elsewhere, I would greatly appreciate any help!
That’s all for this time, hopefully the next time I post I will have built up a few quality backlinks and will be moving in the right direction in the search engines.
I have a very similar story to yours, im glad to see im not the only one who has a little trouble now and then. Be careful with adsense I had an angry customer click bomb one of my pages and got my account canned with nearly 2 grand in it. thanks for the blog.

Hi, Can you suggest me, how to get maximum backlinks. Is there any cheap or free software available? I am an adsense publisher, but I don’t see any significant increase in my earnings since last two months? Is there anything wrong with my backlinks campaign that google sees differently, or is there anything wrong with my on-site SEO? I have seen a lot of talk over the web about the new google algorithm, through which many of the adsense publishers have seen a significant drop in their earnings. What’s wrong with Google?

That’s pretty much you are doing for now, but gaining a higher SERP will automatically help you earn more profits from your blog. Gaining backlinks is a debatable topic these days on internet,ya it works but only when you do some really mass work for generating curiosity, customizing your emails and chats and adding your link along with it is another method to gain backlinks. But again content is the king if you want the first time visitor keep coming back to your blog you really need to post some high quality content.

Earning money from adsense is still a very decent way to obtain passive income. What I’ve been doing is I buy established domains with potential, rebuild it, optimize adsense placement and design, work on on-page seo and off-page seo, and my adsense income just keeps on climbing

I know you are big on the Google traffic but how is your Bing traffic doing?
I’ve noticed that when I doing any kind kind of backlink building Google drops my site in a heartbeat (eventually it comes back). But for some reason Bing loves it and my traffic from them almost doubles.
I’ve been using adsense on multiple sites for a few years now, you really can’t beat it. (Chitika, bidvertiser etc.. can’t even compare)

Well congrats and goodluck for your new sites. After reading your blog i must say you are getting a lot from the Keyword Academy, it has shown you a bigger area of work. Your plan of action is quite good and anchor text seems a great helping tool for the backlinks. I must try it out for my sites too. But we love to see your new posts and your new ideas shared with us. So keep posting:-)

I have often written content for my sites in bulk and scheduled them to be posted at regular intervals. It’s often the case that new and promising projects take more of your time and you ignore the ‘money making’ websites.
Looks like you are enjoying the keyword academy to the fullest, Mark and Court have been doing a fine job there.

Why do you plan to monetize this site at a later date? Its better done earlier than later. Also you will have to spend a long time in selecting the proper CONVERTING products for this blog. This selection process is going to take a long time. so if you start from today, then at the time when this site gets established, you will be earning huge amounts of money right away without any further experiments!!!

A quick tip on link building, for readers and those commenting – adding to the list noted above, a press release can also be a great way to garner links. After releasing it, the content of the release itself can often include links back to your site. Afterward, a number of sites often pick up press releases. Some of these will remove the links, trying to horde their “link juice,” but others will leave them intact. The links may not be “prime” links, but they are links nonetheless and, because you’ve written the release and added the links, you’ll have control over the anchor text.

Great post! A good tool for you might be wp-autoposter, it can feed articles right to this blog and you don’t have to do a thing besides write your articles. I use it and have seen great results, plus my readers get fresh content every 2-3 days.
